This is the privacy policy for frpspec.com, a website operated by WayTong Building Materials. It explains what happens to information that passes through this site — whether you're reading product pages, downloading data sheets, or sending us an enquiry about custom FRP profiles. We've written it to be read by engineers and buyers.

Information that comes to us
What you choose to send
When you fill in a contact form on this site, you decide what to share. Typically that includes your name, company, email address, phone number, and a description of your project or enquiry. We receive that information as an email and use it to respond to you. We don't feed it into a marketing automation system, add you to a newsletter list, or pass it to a third party for follow‑up. It stays with our applications team until the conversation concludes.
What the server logs automatically
Like every website, our hosting infrastructure records basic technical data when pages are requested: your IP address, browser type, operating system, the page you visited, and the time of the request. We don't connect this data to you as an individual. We look at it in aggregate to understand things like which product pages are getting attention or whether the site is loading quickly enough for visitors in different regions. The logs are rotated and older data is discarded on a routine schedule.
What we don't collect
We don't use advertising pixels, social media tracking scripts, or third‑party analytics that build profiles of individual visitors across different websites. There is no behavioural tracking on this site, and we don't have a cookie consent banner because we don't set non‑essential cookies.
Cookies that the site sets
Joomla, the content management system that runs this site, sets a session cookie. This cookie is temporary and holds no personal information. It expires when you close your browser. It's there so that the contact form submission works correctly. There are no other cookies on this site unless you manually adjust your browser to send additional information.
Who else might see your information
We work with a small number of service providers who, by necessity, may have incidental access to data:
- Our hosting provider stores the server logs and delivers the website to your browser.
- Our email platform processes the messages sent through our contact forms so they land in our inbox.
Both providers are contractually bound to handle data only as instructed by us. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. If a government authority issues a valid legal request for data, we will comply only to the extent required by law.
Where your data lives and how long it stays
The website is hosted on servers located in Europe. Enquiry emails are stored in our business email system for the duration of the conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards as a business record. Server logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes, then automatically deleted. There is no indefinite archive of personal browsing data.
Your control over your information
If you've sent us an enquiry and want us to delete it from our email system before the conversation has concluded, write to us and we'll do that. If you want a copy of the correspondence we've had with you, we can send that too. For any privacy‑related request, email the address below and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Links to other websites
This site links to external resources — industry standards bodies, material databases, engineering references. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We can't take responsibility for how they handle your data once you leave frpspec.com.
Updates to this page
If our data practices change — for example, if we add a new tool that changes how visitor information is handled — we'll update this page and note the change date. There won't be a pop‑up or an email announcement. This page is the definitive record of our current practice.
