Standard pultruded profiles cover a wide range of structural needs. But when your project calls for a specific cross-section, a particular resin matrix for an aggressive chemical environment, or lengths that don't fit standard shipping constraints, we fabricate profiles to your exact specification. You give us the mechanical and dimensional requirements — we produce the profile that matches, not the closest off‑the‑shelf alternative.
Every custom fabrication order begins with the same straightforward process: you send us the key parameters of your application, and our engineering team responds with a technical proposal. There's no charge for the initial specification and quotation, and no commitment until you approve the proposed solution.
Information to include with your enquiry
The more detail you can share up front, the faster we can deliver a tailored specification. If you don't have every point below, send what you have and we'll work through the rest together.
Essential parameters
- Profile cross-section — I-beam, channel, square tube, round tube, angle, solid rod, or a custom shape — with approximate dimensions
- Mechanical requirements — design loads, span lengths, and any specific strength or stiffness needs
- Chemical environment — what substances will the profile be exposed to, including concentration and temperature ranges
- Length and quantity — required piece lengths and total linear or piece quantity
- Connection details — if the profiles will be bolted, bonded, or otherwise joined, and whether pre‑drilled holes or cut‑outs are needed
Additional details that help
- Drawings or sketches — a dimensioned sketch of the profile or assembly
- Fire rating requirement — any flame spread or smoke index specifications to meet
- Surface finish — standard matte, UV‑stabilised, or specific colour requirement
- Existing material being replaced — what's currently in place and the reason for replacement
- Project timeline — when you need delivery on site
This is the same information our engineers would ask for on a first call. Providing it with your enquiry means the proposal you receive will be based on your actual operating conditions, not generic assumptions. For context on how our profiles are manufactured and tested, see our manufacturing capability overview and quality testing approach.
